I have not been to a meeting yet, but back when I was in the club it was $20+$5(big Bass) per tournament, and that might have went up a little since then. The web page said $60 yearly membership dues. Full payout minus $1 to BASS and all awards they purchase. [/code]

I see that Berrien is affiliated with both organizations this year. You may need to be members of both organizations, I don't know though. I know their numbers are down a lot because of all the traveling but if you have the money and like to fish those venues they're a great club. Everyone likes to catch some nice smallies on St. Clair!

I don't have the money either, but for the education I will get from some of those guys, and just the opportunity to pick their brains, it will be worth it. I think you have to be involved in half of the activities, whether tourneys or kids programs, etc... Sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun, and even though the entry fees are low for the tourneys, the chance to fish the state tourney is worth it. Is FLW set up the same way as BASS is, with you having to be a member by the end of the year, and what is their tourney like, or is there one? Never heard of it to tell you the truth.

Decided against the Berrien Bass Busters for personal reasons, but am still interested in this Four Flags. I fished a few a couple years ago with my uncle and got skunked both tourneys, but I didn't know what I was doing then either. I really need a schedule so I can know if I can fish it or not though. When are the meetings and how much are the dues, etc... Everything of importance would be nice, since the website hasn't been updated in awhile. Embarassed Thanks

Dues are 50 bucks I think plus a BASS membership. I don't even know the dates yet, Dave Landon is in charge of those. Dave's number is in the book I think, if not talk with Dan Posey if you know his number he may know.

I want to do Paw Paw and maybe Magician. Do you have to be a member to fish just 2 of them? Doesn't matter either way, just wondering. Hey John, are you on GLB also, and if so, are you going to the DK Open?

www.greatlakesbass.com I think Justin is still a member of it. Every spring they have what is called a DK Open, named after Dan Kimmell, the guy running GLB. It is normally held on St. Clair during the catch and release season, this year it's looking like it's going to be on the 3rd of May. Pretty informative site as well, a lot of big guys from St. Clair and BFL's on there.
