| I vote for opening Sunday on Paw Paw 7 or 8 hours out of the ramp where you don't need a permit, isn't that when the BAU was last year and everyone had tons of fun? Pipestone June 13 or 14th. Sept. 26 or 27th on the river. With a special draw paper tournament on Indian Lake opening day of catch and release season where we go by length and 5 boaters get randomly paired with 5 non-boaters. We use a digital camera in each boat to confirm length. It would be awesome and only like 30 bucks a person and payback 3 spots that way. 1st $150 2nd $100 and 3rd $50. 3rd gets what would have gone to big bass because that could be almost impossible to tell from photos. No lifejackets or anything just a great time. We could start a couple hours after sunrise and fish for 7 hours during the perfect time. |

That sounds like a pretty good schedule. I was thinking one in late october or Nov on the river too. I like the Paw Paw and Pipestone ideas. We really need to iron out the details for a paper tournament on Indian as well. Paper tournaments could be pretty fun around here seeing there aren't any I know of.
