Was fishing the St. Joe river on Sunday, in front of the Coast Guard station for an early start to see if any big'uns moved in there. Saw something totally different instead. CPR being administered, gurney handed off the Guard boat to the EMT's, and heard the words, not breathing.

A sad day for sure. Crying or Very sad Makes me think twice about boat positioning when near the guard station.

I thought I heard someone talking about that accident yesturday at the gass station. They said something about a 15 ft wave. There is no reason to risk being out in waves like that. It makes me worry a little about the guys who run lake erie when it has 8-10 ft waves. People always brag about doing it but man its not worth it if something bad happens.

the article says 4-5 ft waves, but there probably were a few bigger ones also. 15 is probably stretching it. When I first heard of it the line was a 14 ft boat. I was thinking the guy was slow or something, but it was actually a 20 ft boat.

I guess 15 ft is stretching it. It made for a better story though. I have to ask, "How do you sink a 20 ft boat in 5 ft wave?" Something else had to go wrong.

Maybe I'll read the article to find out. Idea
