not released yet, but if you have not fished the 2 required tournaments then you had better get into them before that opportunity is gone.
I will let everyone know when I find out what the lake is.

"2 required toournaments".......what a joke. It'l be the same as always just like the classic lake, they'll post it around October 1st and then be calling guys to tell 'em if you fished 1 you're in...and by the way it's tommorrow !
These guys will go the same way as CATT did.

| I talked to Jay today and it has been narrowed down to 3 lakes most likely (2) he is hoping to have it all ironed out by this weekend. I will say that all of the lakes that have been mentioned are very good lakes. Sorry I can not give out any other details but as you know its still a ways out there anyways in October. Remember the wildcard for those who did not qualify is September 20th on Muskegeon. |

Ok, I talked to Chris tonight and he told me that it is final and the BAU is going to be going to................................
Lake Leelanau
Tad Hepler and Dave Eggers should love the opportunity to defend the title and try for another boat.
Remember if you have not qualified yet there are still a few opportunities left as the season is winding down.
1. you must fish 2 tournaments from the same division, last year this was not enforced but I assure you that it will be this year.
2. If you did not fish 2 tournaments from the same division you must fish the wildcard make up tournament. |

So from the sounds of it the 50% plan is probably off? After reviewing the few results they have posted, I assumed this was going to be the deal anyways. I think he should just keep it that way until he can begin to draw in that many boats, but it's his trail, not mine. Guess it's time for me to exact a little revenge from that lake. I didn't miss a single fish that I think would've made a difference last year, but, I didn't locate the fish we had lined up either. Apparantly they didn't get to read the memo I sent them about sitting on one rock until we showed up and then eating our bait. Oh well, I have a feeling I'll be better prepared this year.

1Jav,
No, you must score in the top 50% of your division or be in the top 50% at the wildcard or you are not eligble for the classic. I talked to Jay tonight and we are going to notify all those that have qualified and those who have not. If you have any questions please give me a call.
Thanks,
Rich
The Wild Card is going to be on Muskegeon Lake on Sept. 20th at Fishermans Landing, I will be launching at safe light and we will go for 8 hours. |

| Yes it is for sure as I am a director and I have talked to both Jay and also Chris who set up classic deal for the BAU. So it is official, if you have not yet qualified for the classic there is still some opportunities left to do so. |

Pigsmallie,
Yes you are correct, you must fish 2 tournaments in order to qualify for the classic (This is a must this year) it was not enforced last year but in order to make it fair we decided to enforce this.
There are 3 other tournaments that you can fish that will allow you to have your first one completed, Where do you live? I am thinking about having one more over my way in order to get some people that did not have the opportunity to fish or know about the BAU. But I need more commitments from anglers to fish so that I am not wasting my time away from my family for only 4 boats.
If anyone is game for another qualifier at Paw Paw and Magician Lake let me know and I will run it by Jay or possibly have another one on Muskegeon Lake before the Wildcard. If anyone is interested please email me or call me

Skeeterman, I have no beef with you or TCook or 1jav you guys were speaking your minds and I have no problem with that at all to be honest. I do what my sponsors request and I promote them in every chance I get so that is nothing against you at all. That being said we would love to have more boats at the classic, its anyones game up there for a 1 day tournament. As many seen last year the front moved in a changed the fishing from 1 day to the next. I would love to have 1 more on Paw Paw but I would also like to move 1 up North to Muskegeon for guys that were not able to make any of the other ones. I have talked to my friend Jake and he is trying to round up a group of guys from Indiana that would like to come up and fish and he is thinking he can get 6-12 boats so if you and some of your friends can go we can get that number up and get more qualified. Let me know your thoughts.
