So I am still learning more and more on HOW to actually fish, just started getting into a little bit of flipping. Just wondering what you guys are using as your favorite flipping bait. So far in my limited use I have had the most of my success on a 4 inch senko style worm.

Alot of people flip the Sweet Beaver and Smallie Beaver, and baits similar to that. I am going to try a few new baits this year, maybe. I like to throw Chigger Craws a lot. Or I rig a tube weedless.

Probably not the best choice for thick grass mats but other than that you cant go wrong with pitching a jig. The different head shapes and wheights make a difference when pitching into the different kinds of cover. For the thick stuff if you find that a jig is coming up with grass too often or hanging up try a texas rigged sweet beaver or any other prefered creature bait.

For grass or even thick pads try a mango jig heavy enough to break through (bullett head)

For wood I use a nemesis upskirt jig

For rock a football head works best
