What are your favorite Northern MI waters?

My all time favorite is Burt Lake but Skegemog and GTB are close behind. The smallmouth in these lakes are plentiful and huge. Last year my wife and I went up a couple times and had a blast.

Burt's a nice body of water, the smallies are bigger there than in Mullet but not as plentiful. I like 'em both. There's so many great lakes up there it's ridiculous.
I like Skeg in mid May, Douglas in mid June, GTB in mid July and Thunder Bay in August.

It has to be Mullett then Green for me. If you get up there at the right time its no problem in the fall to catch 50-100 fish a day and average 3.5lbs. Probably a little more on mullett than green. But as for me both are awesome lakes.
