Xpress,

The river is pretty flooded right now so I haven't been down there in a week or so. Since it's flooded try the Mouth in NB. There is a bridge that has a deep hole infront of it and shallower rocks behind it. If the river is to nasty then fish for Coho off the pier on the lake side. If you can get into a boat than fish the seams that the break wall create.

If you're fishing when the river isn't so muddy get a map and mark up where the galien R crosses roads. Park your car and start wading. I fish the North branch in a bunch of different spots.

Good Luck,

Sorry this is a little late, I think I'm the only one on here that fishes the Galien R.

Thats a great little stretch. There are steelhead, suckers, and pike that run up that far. It stinks when the water is high though.

Since Walleye season closes on March 15, catchable/keepable walleye are closer to the mouth of the Galien.

I will be out this weekend and will post when I get home. The moon phase is all good this weekend so I'm sure the action will be great!

Save a life. Catch and release:)
