Hey guys,

Just wanted to post this report from last week to let u know how much FUN I had in Michigan Last weekend!

Started off with some coffee about 630am talking to my Brother-in-law Ed (GmanEd) about where to go for the day. So after shootin the breeze for a bit we decided to hit up Hess Lake. We have had luck there last summer, made sense.

Water was still a little cold, maybe 50 degrees or so?! So I'm thinking... have a rrreeeaaaaaallll slow presentation u know, after about 30 minutes throwing 3-4" twisters than moving to all kinds of plastics?!? Nothing so I decided to toss a j7 out with a medium retrieve, 3 fish in about 15 casts!! Made my day.. Here's the first fish

After we made a pass around the Lake 1 more time, Ed had a MONSTER ON:) I'd say 5+lbs. Hit his lure like a tun of bricks, fought this beast for a few minutes and than he jumped out of the water 2ft! SNAP.. line broke:( o well! He'll be there 4 next time:)

Nice Job!! Remember Catch and Release Bass fishing starts April 26 in Michigan. Save your excellent reports until then Laughing
