As many have seen Jackall Bros. (known as Lake Police in Japan) has been taking Japan by storm. The inventor of Jackall lures is the same person who developed (TD-Minnow for Diawa) and then went on to develop lures for Lucky Craft including but not limited to (Pointer 78, Pointer 100, Bevy Shad, Flat Series Cranks, Sammy's, S8 and many others on the line.) As of May D&R Sports Center now carries a large selection of the baits.
On July 15th my partner had a tournament on Magician Lake, we did not win we came in 2nd but here is the deal.....We caught keepers all day long and when I say keepers we stopped netting anything that was not over 16 inch and many 14 inches we did not even bump to see if they were keepers we lost count after we hit 24 keepers and well over 50 fish we were able to fish behind other competitors and catch fish on the water that they just finished fishing. So you might ask what were we using? Well it is a new technique in America but has been perfected in Japan it is known as the Flick Shake developed in Japan by Jackall (as the name implies that is the name of the bait) it is called a Flick Shake and it comes in 4.8 inch and 5.8 inch worms. I still need to contact Randy V. to get them into D&R as the worms are coming from Japan and have a prebend in them. I have tried using Yamamoto worms and others but not gettting the same result as that of the Jackall Flick Shake. Also when using the bait it does not tear like a yami does.
other baits being release are.
1. Cross Tail Shad - Drop Shotting worm
2. Giron - Swim Bait
3. MC/60 - Fast Wobble Crank bait - shallow runner and medium runner
4. Muscle 10+ - Crank Bait
5. Muscle 15+ - Crank Bait
The other baits are on line at www.jackall-lures.com
If anyone is interested in learning more on them or would like to get them into thier local dealer please contact me and I would be happy to set them up.
