Jav,
I will be at the show on Friday night, Saturday all day and most of the day Sunday. There are some baits that I do not have ringed up yet, but I have them in my boxes for viewing.
I also talked with Randy at D&R and the Flick Shake and the rest of the Jackall Line up is going to be in there shortly. Also while I was in there I inquired about getting the Kaenon Sunglasses into the store and we will be doing something before the Spring Show here in the end of March. I will be working the show with Jackall and Kaenon and should have all the product lines with me.

| Hey there hows it going? I want to know what seperates your bait from lucky craft, megabass??I know megabass is an outrageous priced product that is the same as both of these.(Jackall,LuckyCraft)but is there a certain tweek in Jackall?(hey certain little things make a HUGE difference). If we all knew these we would all be the same and the whole tourney thing wouldnt be worth it. Will be @ the Lunkers deal and would like to talk with you(SQUAD MINNOW).-SKEETERMAN- |

Skeeterman,
Coming from someone not working with Jackall, they are the best! I used Pointer 100s since they have come to America. However, last summer I got my hands on 2 Jackall jerkbaits and they worked better than my Lucky Craft. Last year my first tournament on Diamond Lake I had only 1 fish in the boat at 11:30, tournament ended at 12:30. I tied on a Smash Minnow and put 5 more in the boat within 45 minutes with the trolling motor on high moving as fast as I could. Before I used that bait I used a Chart/Shad pointer 100 for probably 2.5 hours and only had 1 bite. That day made me a believer, and that is why I am persuing Jackall at this time. |

I fished the same flat John was fishing that day on Diamond just before he did. The bass were raiding gill beds. I threw every brand jerk bait at them that had in the boat. I only caught a couple. Then John came in and I saw him land a couple.
Nice to know what you were using!!!
Jackell must be that much better, and different.

| Yeah the secrets out, but it's all good. The same guy who designed Lucky Craft I believe sold that company and then founded Jackall, so he has his improved secrets put into Jackall. You'd have to check with Rich on that though because he reps them around here he probably knows more about the story than I do. |

Jackall was originated by Seiji Kato in Japan, for those who do not know who Seiji is let me explain. Seiji has always been known in Japan as one of the top lure designers and has become know as a Godfather in the world of fishing in Japan. So what has he done with his skill, what we see in America began back with Seiji started working for Diawa and developed the TD Minnow and other TD series baits (trap)ect... then he left and went to work for Lucky Craft and some of the lures that he developed during this time were and not limited to (Pointer Minnow, Sammy, Bevy Shad, Flat Series Cranks and numerious others) He left Lucky Craft and went on his own and started Jackall Bros. also know as Lake Police in Japan with Vice President Ty Ono as a product developer. Ty is one of the originators of the Drop Shot that we use today and is also the developer of the Flick Shake worm. So Jackall has so much knowledge in the fishing industry that it is hard to go wrong with them. Ty and Seiji are tournament anglers and they run a tackle business on the side so you know that the baits work because they will not release them into the American market with out proof that they work in the local waters. I have first hand knowledge of that as I received the Flick Shake back in March of last year before dealers had them in May and June as well as new colors that get released they come over to be field tested before they will go on the shelves. We want to make sure that all the products that we put the Jackall name on not only sell but catch fish.

|
|
Skeeter you asked what makes Jackall or Lucky Craft and Megabass Superior?
I have worked for both Lucky Craft and Jackall and I know of these products specifically so I can address them as for Megabass I have never used thier products so by saying anything about them I would be just speculating.
Lucky Craft basically started in the U.S. market about 1997 and from that time they started a drastic change in what anglers were willing to pay for top dollar fishing baits, I remember when they first were introduced and I was shell shocked by the $15 per bait but after using the baits I see why. They catch fish, I was lucky enough to have found out about Jackall before they actually approached the U.S. market and was fortunate and able to develop a relationship with Jackall to help promote products in the U.S. The reason that I was so interested in Jackall is that I bought a few baits off of ebay and was able to use them on the water, and instantly seen that these baits were better than the Lucky Crafts that I was throwing. I think most tournament anglers know that quality bait from Japan are always going to catch fish, right now Jackall is developing new baits that will be released at the ICAST show coming this summer in Vegas.
At Jackall we try to keep our new products secret until released so that we are the first on the market. Some people have asked if we have a soft plastic swimbaits like the basstrix, and that would be yes we do. We know there is a market here for it and more than likely we will have baits over here shortly for field testing and then into dealers.
If you have any other questions about the products, let me know I will be more than happy to fill you in.
Thanks,
Rich |

Hey guys,
when you go to the Lunkers Show make sure you stop by and visit with me on the Jackall products, the order for Lunkers was shipped out on Thurday for them to start stocking it. I am hoping to sell out of the product at the show this way it will allow us to bring in the whole lineup - as you can imagine when a dealer starts with a new product they are cautious not to bring in items that they might not be able to move so we put in stock items that we know will sell out right away. So if you want to see the whole line up coming into the store tell people about the baits so we can sell out of them.
If there are certain baits that you want to see that Lunkers does not have, that is no problem as I have all the colors of all the baits in bait rings or in boxes. That even includes items and colors you have not seen yet.

Michigan Specialty Tackle in Battle Creek is March 8th - We have Jackall in there as well
D&R Sports Show - March 21st - Jackall again has been in there since last spring.
Al & Bobs - Grand Rapids - I am working on getting Jackall in there so if you guys can give them a call and let them know your interested in them. I am trying to get them in there by the Grand Rapids Boat Show and working the show with them on moving Jackall Products.

Also im really looking into swimbaits this year. im not one to throw in alot of different stuff.(if you look in my boat i pretty much got the smallest tackle supply) certain things catch fish and thats it. i have to have confidence in a bait before ill put my money on the line with it. I'm really looking forward to talking about these Jackall Lures.-skeeterman- |

Jackall went into Lunkers this last week and the baits are already selling very quickly. They actually ran out of Flick Shake Worms before the show started (But do not worry - They quickly seen the demand for it and did a re-order and the baits will be there for the show) Stop by and lets get you guys hooked on Jackall.
Everyone asks what is the best baits and I will say this. All of the baits will catch fish during the correct season, do I have favorites -.........Yes but would I try to sell any bait that does not work........Not a chance. I rep Jackall because I know and believe in the products. Once you guys start using them I think you will have the same views.
Rich
So chime in who is going to stop by and chat with me at the show. |
