Went to the Joe today. Was OK but not that great. Last Friday caught 5 over four pounds but this Friday only managed a handful of 2.5 to 3 pounders. Found a few on dips on sand flats just upstream from the no wake zone but there was very little bait fish there. Most of the fish came close to the lake and they were all lake smallies. Very light colored. Looking forward to going back next week.

Sounds like you've been having a great time out there! There is nothing wrong with catching a handful of 3 pounders on a tough day.
