I got a report that the steelhead are eating down at the Berrien Springs dam. Spawn sacks, and other slow presentations are key.

Ron and I fished today March 2, 2008 and caught 3 nice steelies with jigs. We caught them in current seams on the Joe.

I am going to try to go to B Springs or Pucker Dam Sat. What's a good rig to use with a spawn sac? Treble hook, drop weight?

Thanks,
Jon

When I fish spawn sacs with a spinning rod I use a Three way swivel. One line has split shot as weight so I can pull it easily off snags. The other line will have a small trebble hook with a spawn sac. Somestimes the steelhead only want the single egg immitatition.
