Is there anybody that has advise for trout fishing in the local lakes?

I've heard to night fish with a lantern hung over the side of the boat. Chum with canned whole kernal corn and bait with the same. I've not done it but my stepdad goes to Singer Lake in Bridgman, MI and does this all the time.

Justin might know about this Lake.

thanx for the info,I have also heard of good of trout fishing on shavehead and harwood lake?
