all i do is catch and release fishing for bass but would i get in trouble bass fishing before season by dnr if all i was doing was catch and release

Technically Yes is the word that i would use. If you admit that your are illegally targeting bass out of season you can be fined, loss of license, etc.. But I know that your not fishing for bass out of season you must be fishing for rock bass or something that is in season right?

Because this is a public forum, I would say don't do it because its illegal. If the DNR sees you doing it they will ticket you, its their job. Laughing

I agree, those bass can be a huge paim in the butt. Often times when perch fishing with a tube I'm constantly bothered by those bronze menaces. The DNR should do something!!
