| Has anyone been out to Pipestone yet chasing those monsters? A couple years ago we went out there and got some nice ones sometime around now with a jerkbait.

I usually start going to Pipestone after the catch and release season starts (April 2 . Pipestone produces huge pre spawn bass early in the spring. I usually catch them on senkos, jerkbaits, and jigs. Occasionally they will school up and big crankbaits work well. My biggest bass of the year usually comes from pipestone in the spring.
