Monsters still spawning

Here it is May and there is still moster large heads still spawning on West Point. I went out over the weekend and the weather was hot and the water was getting to 75 by mid day. I starting by cruising the shoreline to look for spawners and I was just seeing fry guarder. I caught most of them but when I started to go back into the coves I seen the monsters. I mean huge 7-12 lbs. They were the biggest bass I have ever seen and of couse they didn't eat. They should be spawning for a few more weeks so the fishing should be good.

I did think they were carp. You could see them in sun from the other side of the creek arm. Some had to be pushing 30inches+. Theirs backs were 6-8 inches across when they swam under the boat and their eyes were the sizes of $.50 pieces!!! SO HUGE!! I think I did wet my pants a little but nobody was there to see so I was OK.
