I have a burning question for the leader of this forum. Rich, how do you catch bass on West Point during the winter months?
Thanks bud,
Justin

West Point lake is different from anything that I ahve fished. It is a 26,000 acre lake that the whole shore line is the same. For those that are wondering how big that is, it is about 26 times larger than Paw Paw lake. It is all clay, rock and trees. There is not one dock so i am lost. Now that is winter for about a month or so the bass are deep(20-40ft). I hear you drive around until you mark them and you use jigging spoons. Well I can't bring myself to do that. I rather go in 6ft of water and throw a worm and catch nothing than vertical fish for bass. At the end of Feb. the fishing is going to get really good. They will be moving shallow and starting to spawn, then the fun begins.
Rich
