How many people use this around here? I can think of several places where it would come in handy. I have not caught a thing on it despite the great look and action. I have heard that the best way to use it is to think about using it where you would a spinnerbait in most cases (minus the weeds) any ideas or advice?

I have never used one in Michigan. I use cranks that dive 6-8 ft but not the minus one. If I were to use it then I would use it around shallow wood and bump it of the wood.

is there any reason you prefer deeper diving cranks to shallow diving ones?

I use them a lot. I really like running them over weeds and around docks.

I use them a lot in the spring for post spawn fish when the weeds are about 2ft from the surface. I have caught some big fish with them.
