I get a kick out of this now almost year old raging debate on LSCN about CATT vs NBAA. The boys over there have lowered themselves to name calling and "I'll see you outside!"
The director of a series or tournament is EVERYTHING. I can't imagine haveing more fun than Jim and I did last year fishing with Brad as TD for CATT 11. Brad did a wonderful job and I'ld fish anything he directed with out hesitation.
CATT's only problem is they just flat out don't do what they say. If you're not going to do it, don't say it.
We were going to fish NBAA #8 this year but Mickey's Tuesday deal looks as good or better and doesn't go clear up to Allegon.

I want to second what you said about Brad. His series was well run and it's to bad he's stepping down. But the trail he directed for has to do what they say!
I thought the post on LSCN was comical:) There is nothing like picking a fight in a chat room over bass fishing tournament trails. I would think there are other important issues to worry about.
What does mike's schedule look like?

Mickey Thomas has 2 nights, Tue & Thur. They average 30 boats each night and I believe it to be well run. I know quite a few guys that fish it.

| exactly what happens. Brad is a great guy but the CATT organization is filled with liars and promise breakers. They would do anything to get you to fish with them but care nothing about the anglers.

I talked to Clark and Mickey this last weekend, I do not know how much time Mickey will be able to spend on his home waters now that he has made it to the big time. But I called Mickey this week at work and he I planning on fishing as much as possible.
but to chime in on the circuit it will be a great draw of guys and most of them are good seasoned anglers, if you can fish against these guys you are a good angler. |
