The lake temp was 64 degrees and the air temp was almost 70 degrees. Ron Nelson and I fished a small Zebra Muscle bed he found in 23 ft of water. We were drifting tubes when he set the hook on and landed a 6 pound, 5 ounce smallmouth. It was the biggest smallie I've ever seen!!! We missed a bunch of other big ones that were also pushing 6 pounds.
