Muskegon Lake T.O.C. Please Help!!!! |
|
Any one fished Muskegon lately? My clubs Tournament of Champions is being held on Muskegon Lake on September 28-30. Fished the lake for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I did not do so well, only managed one keeper smallie about three pounds and half a dozen shorts. Any help on general locations, baits, or techniques would be greatly appreciated. Going to try to get up there one more time before the tourney. Please help!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Ken

I am no expert on muskegon and have done average this year. Although last month a member of GLB asked me to exchange spots and techniques for muskegon in return for info on the grand. He ended up winning his 40 boat club tournament on one of my spots. I can PM you some general information as long as you dont fish any circuits that I might in the future.

Anglers Dream Tournement of Champions are the same days. I wouldn't consider a tournement circuit a fishing club....

I am fishing the Angler's Dream circuit. That is our Tournament of Champions. I was not trying to decieve anyone, just looking for some help. I live out of state and can't get to the lake much before the tourney.
Thanks
Ken

If you can fish the channel by fishermans park then I would start there. There are a lot of retred fish hanging in and around that channel.
The pier heads have a good smallie population on them.
If you can find deep wood then you've found a bass magnet.
Good Luck!!!
Justin
