Paw Paw 7-25-09

Fished Paw Paw with Skeeterman again and the bite was even slower than our last time out there about two weeks ago. Boat traffic was rediculous again but we still fished for 13 hours. Our best 5 came in the first half of the day and went about 18-19 pounds. Cought about 20 keepers or so and I got the big bass of the day that went 5-1 and cought my personal best walleye that weighed 7-13. It was tough but after fishing Barbie Chain and the maggies stretch of the St Joe river yesterday from sunup to sun down it wasnt that bad, I think Im done fishing in Indiana for the year.

Thats not a bad walleye for this time of year. But if you really want to beat your PB walleye you will fish the rivers in the winter.

Jason was there too so we had three in the boat and we were planning on leaving for st clair at 4AM but the weather changed our minds so we headed to Paw Paw for the day. Otherwise I would have woke you up at 5AM to come with. Whats the word on your engine?

Nice work! The Walleye have really been on the feed at Paw Paw this year.
