Me and 1Jav fished the master caster's two day event on Paw Paw Lake. We fished topwater for the first hour both days which produced 1 keeper each day. Most bass were just hitting the bait and missing. The next 5 hours both days we skipped docks way back in em where other anglers dont throw. Pontoons were the deal, it provides the best shade for a bass and was key for the biggest bites. The first day I landed three 2 pounders and Jav got two. Jav missed two 3.5-4 pounders which wrapped him around poles and broke him off Evil or Very Mad . After day 1 we had 5 fish for 8-15 and the leader had 11-14.

Day two the same thing 1 on top in the morning and 4 total keeper bites skipping docks. I cought two and Jav got three. We each cought a three pounder and the other three fish were solid two's. We finished with 20-9 for two days and took 1st place and bigbass. Second place ended up with under 17, there deep water spots dried up.

The water was still greenish in color, and yes they are open events. They have a membership fee but did not make us pay it.
