The wife and I went fishing on Paw Paw Lake after work today for a couple hours. My goal for the afternoon was to find smallie beds. I was fairly sucessful in my efforts. I caught 4 smallies off beds ranging from 2-4 pounds. After I was done fishing for smallies I went in the channels and caught a couple 3 pound males off beds. I did catch one female today that was around 4.5 pounds. I through a jig at her and she ate it before it hit the ground. Paw Paw is on fire right now, just get there before they kill the weeds.
