Joined: 20 Mar 2007 Posts: 109 Pond Fishing Have been to a few ponds already down here, and I must say it is still fun fishing from shore when you know any minute can yield a hawg. Today I managed to catch 4 crappie about 12" each, huge if you ask me, all on a Xcalibur XT3 twitchbait (jerkbait). Followed these up with a 12" bass, then right as my hands were numb, I landed a 3 pounder on a smallie beaver look alike. What fun, but man are my fingers numb.
