| I have never been the most accurate caster, I can get it fairly close but not on the head of the nail as to speak. I am learning(and getting better) to skip plastics under docks, etc. but am looking for ways to practice without being on the water and when on the water, without upsetting property owners when I smack right into their dock, pontoon, or whatever I may be trying to skip up under.

farm ponds are great for skipping at sticks or leaves in the water, and large mud puddles work as well. Good luck, it can get awfully frustrating. About the property owners, I only skip into boats when people are watching, so I try to avoid doing that.
