|

Squadminnow or anyone else who wants to chime in. Is there a significant way to hook the flickshake when wacky rigging it on one of those wacky jig heads? In the latest Bassmaster it talks about getting the proper rolling action and in the picture it almost looks skin hooked to the back of it.
Thanks in Advance, Matt Morgan |

I haven't fished it much but when I inspected the worm I noticed one end of the worm was a little larger and the worm is slightly arced. No matter how I hooked it wacky style the worm still rolled. But there may be a secret that makes it role the better. Squad should know because he fished it a lot last year.

Matt,
pierce the egg sack in the center, you can also experiment with moving the hook to different locations on the worm but my experience is just hooking it in the center which is easy to see because of the center smooth section.

take a look at the Jackall catalog and it shows it in the correct position. |

I was at Lunkers the other day and they only had two bags of flick shake worms left in only one color, and none of the hooks. The store clerk told me they wouldn't be getting any more. What gives?

Triton TR20,
I do not know, maybe he meant that they will not be getting any more in until next spring. That is typically true as they usually order only one time per year. I will say that if you go to BJ Sports in St. Joseph they have a huge line up of Jackall products and of course D&R Sports has a great selection. Let me know where your at and I can steer you to the closest dealer.

Rich,
I forgot to mention it but I was at D and R the other day and it didn't look like they had many left either unless they restocked. |

Hey, I just got an update and Lunkers had just placed another order so you should be seeing some Flick Shakes on the way shortly. I do not know what colors or sizes they ordered but I know they did from my boss. I have not been to D&R so I am not sure what colors Randy has in stock, I do know that I brought in all colors and sizes at BJ Sports. If anyone has any specific color they can probably get Randy or BJ's to order them for you if they do not have them in stock.
