Brian Lieberg and I caught 35 or so smallies on the Joe using soft plastic baits. We caught them in backwater and in current, basically everywhere we fished. Our top 5 weighed 16 pounds, 12 ounces and our biggest bass was 4.3 pounds.

We fished the other day there and lost so many fish it was not funny. We did catch a few though, biggest just over 3 with best 5 probably going 12 or 13. Not bad considering the wind was blowing us all over the place.
