I will be visiting the area the 2nd week of July with family members for vacation at the Three Oaks resort. I was thinking about bringing my 17' nitro along to try fishing some Michigan waters in the mornings and evenings during my stay. Are there any small lakes, rivers worth fishing for bass and panfish in this area of southwest MI?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

Try Magician Lake, and Paw Paw Lake when your here. They sould be getting good again and the deep bite should be on, for bass.

If you want to go gillin try Dayton Lake near Galien, or Round Lake which is close to Magician Lake in the town of Sister Lakes.

To catch the most fish you have to go Perch fishing on Lake Michigan on a calm day. Since You're staying in 3 Oaks than launch out of New Buffalo because it's a nice ramp in a protected pier.
